extra credit

I enjoyed working on creating our own art exhibition project because it was fun to be able to create our own theme and find works that related to it we could do whatever we wanted.
2. Which assignment did you ENJOY working on the least? Why?
I did not enjoy having to do all of those readings, but it helped me learn more.
3. How did you like using BLACKBOARD?
I liked it, it was easy to navigate.
4. What is your opinion of the Discussion Groups in this course?
I thought they were helpful when I needed help, also a good way to keep the class connected.
5. Did you participate in any of the extra credit projects in previous modules? If so, what was your opinion of them? (mandala, elgin marbles, culture, art critics)
No I have not.
6. If you had the opportunity to change this course:
What would you keep?-  discussion groups
What would you remove?- less gallery visits and less readings
What would you add? I don’t really know what I would add
7. Would you recommend this course to your peers?
Yes I would if they really wanted to learn about art.
8. Please list any other comments you would like to share.

I liked this class and thought this class was interesting but it was harder for me to juggle with other classes because the amount of homework and projects assigned.

Module 16 reflection on course

1.    What were you expectations for this course and where they met?
My expectations for this course was to learn something interesting about art that I didn’t know before taking this course, and yes they were most definitely met taking this course.
2.    Now that you've been through this course, What is art? How would you define it now compared to your intial posting?
I would now define art as self explanatory because it has so many different meanings and ways to create something new. It comes in many different forms, and can be expressed from anything.
3.    Who was your favorite artist in your original posting and who is your favorite visual artist now? If there is a difference, why do you think so? If you have the same favorite artist, why do you think so?
I would say my favorite visual artist after completing this course would be Pablo Picasso because I feel that a lot of his art tells a story, and I enjoy looking at his work.
4.    Now that you've completed this course, how do you feel about taking an online course? Is your answer the same as it was in your first posting? How is it the same or different?

I feel much more comfortable taking an online course after taking this course. In the beginning of the semester I was worried about how the entire class worked and how I would submit work also the communication between students and professor. I just thought it was going to be very difficult but after taking this online course for the first time, I am much more comfortable and will be taking more in the future.
