(EXTENDED TIME)
1. Discuss what you thought about creating
your logo.
I thought
it was fun creating my logo because I have never done something like this before
where I had to create something that I felt represented me, I found it challenging
during the brainstorming phase of creating my logo because I didn’t know what
to even start with but after I started thinking of my personality and my
interests and what I like it became much easier to get ideas flowing, and it
made it easier to begin to sketch. Overall I thought it was fun to be able to
create a logo that represented me.
2. Describe the process: creative thinking
skills and ideas you used in the logo creation.
The process
of creating my logo was challenging at first, the brainstorming and sketching. It
was hard for me to think of what to even start with, then I started thinking of
my personality, hobbies, interests, just things I enjoyed doing and it became
easier to sketch and come up with ideas. After I finished with my sketches I looked
at them and chose which sketch I liked the most and expanded the idea and added
color and whatever else I wanted to add to it because at that point I knew the
theme of my design. So throughout the process of drawing my logo I would
adjust/change the things that I wanted to while I was doing it.
3. What was the most important discovery
you made in the creation of your logo?
The most
important discovery I made in creating my logo would be that during the
brainstorming phase you really need to open your mind to all or any ideas that come
to your head. The small little sketch that you made can become something
completely new or have so much more detail and meaning behind it because you
can elaborate from your ideas which leads to new ideas, that’s what I thought
was an important discovery that I have made throughout this process.
4. What is the most important information
you learned from watching the videos, powerpoint, and reading material
for this project? What is your opinion of the videos?
The most
important thing I learned from the sources would be that before starting
anything you first have to find out the message you want to convey and what you
want to say or show. Doing this first and having these things set, will help
your piece grow and have ideas begin to form because you now have something to
work with, a base.
